Frank Haegeland Born December 10, 1954, in Steinkjer, Norway, where he grew up. Later lived in Spain, England, Greece and Sweden. Moved to Contra Costa in 1982. Has worked as a computer software specialist since 1975, when he started programming mainframes using punch cards. Founded his own company, Modern Business Intelligence Corporation (MBIC) in 1985. Today works over the entire Bay Area as a computer consultant specializing in software design and development for the enterprise, including Internet. Loves to explore new areas and backroads, which is how he came to the conclusion that Contra Costa needed a photography book.
